SVN Checkout

SVN Commands:

a. svn checkout: Get a ‘working copy’ of the latest revision of source files.

If you are using Linux then you need to login on your development server,
$ ssh prafulk@111.59.64.98

Where username is prafulkr
SVN server is 111.59.64.98 (Where my www folder present)

It will ask for password, After successful logging you are ready to check-out source code.

Change the directory where you want to checkout all source code like

[prafulkr@98-Development]$ cd htdocs/projects/myblog

Now checkout the source code,
[prafulkr@98-myblog]$svn checkout http://111.59.64.98:200/repos/projects/myblog/TRUNK

or

[prafulkr@98-myblog]$svn co http://111.59.64.98:200/repos/projects/myblog/TRUNK

It will copy all source code in “”myblog”” folder of 111.59.64.98 development server and creat a folder named “TRUNK”.
